The CIRN (Italian Nordic Breeds Club) in collaboration with ENCI organized the first working trial for sled dogs on March 2 and 3, 2025 at the Pianezze nature reserve in the municipality of Vialfrè (TO), during which the veterinary service was supported by our Doctors Chiara Chiaffredo and Lucia Ramera.

February 15-16, 2025. AMeSVI present in Mortegliano (UD) at the CSEN Italian Canicross Championship with members Dr. Chiara Adorini and Dr. Vanessa Ganci.

A day with Dr. Elena Bellaio, member and secretary of AMESVI, was an opportunity to better understand the importance of psychology in sports. "Today we did activities to improve motor control, enhance attention and collaboration, refine sensory integration and perception, and promote calm and emotional balance."

The first FNOVI-AMeSVI online meeting on sports medicine has taken place. Dr. Chiara Chiaffredo, who was tasked with initiating this series of meetings, provided a precise and comprehensive overview of the importance of understanding and caring for dogs involved in sports. Doctors Chiara Chiaffredo, Andrea Galimberti and Roberto Scarcella formed the veterinary support team for this iconic and historic Norwegian sled dog competition which takes place beyond the 70th parallel North, hence the suffix N70

Starting from Tuesday 01/21/2025 FNOVI (National Federation of Italian Veterinary Orders - https://www.fnovi.it/ ) in collaboration with AMeSVI organizes a series of 10 FREE events dedicated to Distance Learning for all Veterinary Doctors.

The INNOVET headquarters in Saccolongo (PD) hosted the first A.Me.SVI Congress on 30.11 and 01.12 2024, which saw the participation of Italian and foreign colleagues and sponsors, interested in learning more about various topics regarding the health of sporting dogs.

The first course on sporting and working dogs, organized by A.Me.SVI, was held at the San Antonio Veterinary Clinic in Salò. Various aspects of different clinical fields of veterinary medicine were covered: physiatry, radiology, orthopedics, cardiology, rehabilitation, nutrition, and thermography.
